We're excited to offer EV charging as a new convenience for our guests at Third and Survey Properties!

Our available 20 AMP, 30 AMP, and 50 AMP electrical receptacles may be used for EV charging when those connections are not already being used for RV parking.

Because our electrical connections serve both RV guests and EV travelers, charging availability can change from day to day and is not guaranteed without advance arrangements.

We Strongly Recommend a Reservation

If you're traveling with an EV and would like to charge while you're here, please call us before arriving.

We'll check our anticipated RV parking and electrical usage and let you know whether an appropriate charging connection is available during your stay.

A reservation gives us the best opportunity to plan for your charging needs.

EV charging is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed for walk-in guests.

How Our Charging Works

Our electrical receptacles are not equipped with individual electric meters.

Rather than installing separate metering equipment, we're offering EV charging as a guest convenience using available electrical capacity at the property.

Your EV and its charging equipment can provide information about your charging session, including things such as:

• 🔋 Your vehicle's current state of charge

• ⚡ The amount of energy received during charging

• 🔋 The vehicle's estimated charge level

• 🔌 Charging progress and completion

Because the electrical connection itself is not individually metered, Third and Survey does not calculate an exact per-kilowatt-hour charge for your vehicle.

A Tip or Community Fund Donation Is Appreciated

We're happy to provide this convenience to our guests, and we appreciate guests who recognize the value of having a place to charge while enjoying Tombstone.

There is no metered per-kWh charging fee.

Instead, guests are welcome to show their appreciation through either:

A Tip to Third & Survey Properties or A Donation to the Third & Survey Community Fund 

Your generosity helps us continue offering helpful amenities to travelers while also allowing us to support our local community through the Third & Survey Community Fund.

The choice is yours. 

We simply appreciate your thoughtfulness.

A Few Things to Know

EV charging is offered as a convenience to our guests, subject to available electrical capacity.

• Charging is available only when an appropriate electrical receptacle is available.

• RV parking needs take priority when electrical spaces are reserved for RV guests.

• 20 AMP, 30 AMP, and 50 AMP connections may be available, depending on property usage and your vehicle/charging equipment requirements.

• Please tell us what type of EV and charging equipment you have when making your reservation.

• Do not unplug another guest's RV or equipment.

• Guests are responsible for using charging equipment appropriate for their vehicle and electrical connection.

• Please follow all manufacturer instructions and electrical safety requirements.

• Charging speed and charging time vary by vehicle, equipment, battery level, and available electrical capacity.
